The Fortnite Alpha test is finally here! Invites are still rolling out, so now is the time to sign up to be a part of the development of this awesome game. The alpha test runs until December 19th. If you don’t get an invite this time around, you should still sign up for a chance to join future play tests.

If you haven’t heard of Fortnite, it’s basically a blend of a bunch of games in one. It’s a co-op shooter, with a bit of tower defense, as well as a building element that is one of the core mechanics of gameplay.

I had the chance to play Fortnite during one of the Stormchaser events held earlier this year, and I can guarantee that this game is a TON of fun, especially when played with a good group of friends. The best part about Fortnite is that it will be free! The devs have assured players that it will be F2P, but not pay-to-win.

From what I experienced at the Stormchaser event, I feel that Fortnite is already off to a great start, and over time this game is just going to get even more epic!
