Hey Witcher fans! I’ve finally posted my breakdown of the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt 35-minute gameplay demo that was released to the public during Gamescom. Sorry it’s taken me so long to upload this, but it’s better late than never!
Feel free to leave a comment with your thoughts on the gameplay, and what you are looking forward to the most in The Witcher 3!
Also, here’s a couple new Witcher 3 images to please your eyeballs:
Dat wingspan tho!
I’ll see you at the top!
This is some amazing Witcher fan art done in the style of Game of Thrones.
Hey Garden Warfare fans! I just wanted to let you know that we’ll be getting another new Garden Warfare DLC on Tuesday! The “Legends of the Lawn” DLC will be available for free on Tuesday, Sept. 30th for all platforms.
Also, the Plants vs Zombies team was awesome enough to let me put together this trailer for the new DLC! I’ve been bursting at the seams all weekend, waiting to share the great news with all of you. Please show your support by leaving a ‘like’ on the video, if you enjoyed it. 🙂
The Legends of the Lawn DLC features the brand new Taco Bandits mode, which is basically the PopCap version of CTF with a Garden Warfare twist. Plus, players will receive 7 new characters, as well as new consumables, customization items & gestures. This is also the debut of the new customization sets–themed item sets that are designed to fit together to create a unique ‘outfit’ for your characters. For example, the Plasma Pea has been outfitted with new Mass Effect inspired attire:
The update will also feature a level cap increase, new challenges for Garden Ops, new achievements, and various gameplay tuning & bug fixes.
I’m so stoked to get my virtual-hands on these new characters, especially the Alien Flower & Chomp Thing (a perfect name choice, btw). And once again, this DLC update is FREE! I really wish more game companies would adopt this model.
P.S. I received NO payment from PopCap to make my trailer. PopCap supplied me with the gameplay and gave me the freedom to edit it as I wished, and it was my pleasure to do so. They are simply one of the few game developers who understand the value of cross-promotion, and that community involvement is often the lifeblood of a game. 😉
If you are one of the many people who have been scouring every Cheetos bag in every Target store for the Chester character promo stickers, then you’ll be relieved to hear the good news! PopCap announced on the PvZ facebook page that the highly coveted Cheetos characters, Dr. Chester & Chester Chomper, are now available for FREE on all platforms!
The promo itself was set to run until the end of September, but it seems to me that there was some sort of miscommunication between Target and Frito-Lay, because TONS of people who tried to find these sticker codes at Target came up empty handed (myself included). Luckily, PopCap was nice enough to say “screw the campaign” and decided to appease the many fans who did not have access to the promotion.
So, if you haven’t tried the new characters yet, then I suggest you fire up your copy of Garden Warfare and start gettin’ cheesy. 😉
Also, I did a video review of these characters in my rare character showcase series, which you can find HERE.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve been seeing some nice Witcher 3 artwork from the devs over at CDProjektRed, and I’ve decided to post some of those images here for you! These images include some really badass environmental concept art, as well as some amazing renders of Geralt, Ciri, Yennefer, Triss, and several other upcoming characters from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
I gathered most of these images right after Gamescom, when CDPR had posted them to their various social media sites. However, this is only a small portion of the awesome artwork that they have released to the public in anticipation of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Hopefully this artwork will help get you as stoked as I am for Witcher 3! 😉
If you want to check out more W3 concept art, character renders, and screenshots, I recommend visiting the Witcher forums. There are several posts that contain TONS of artwork from the devs, so go check it out! I have linked one of the particularly lengthy artwork threads HERE, with its more organized counterpart HERE.
Also, I’m going to post my breakdown of the latest 35-minute Witcher 3 gameplay demo very soon, so stay tuned!

Hey PvZ fans! The latest “Suburbination” DLC update for Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare has brought with it a whole list of new additions to the game, which you can read about in their patch notes here. Among the new additions was the highly anticipated peashooter variant, the Plasma Pea. I actually really enjoy this new character. I have put together a showcase for the Plasma Pea, which you can check out below:
Soon after the Suburbination DLC was released, PopCap announced their partnership with Cheetos to bring us two new Chester Cheetah inspired characters: Dr. Chester & Chester Chomper. However, unlike the previous new characters, these Cheetos characters are only available through sticker codes found on specially marked bags from Target stores. Needless to say, this is a very limiting promotion. Not only is Target not available everywhere, but neither are Cheetos. Plus, it seems that there are not enough sticker codes in circulation. I’ve even checked 5 different stores since the promo started, and have yet to see any sticker codes.
Fortunately, a couple of fellow PvZ YouTuber friends of mine have helped me out with some codes to give away. I am running a giveaway on Twitter until Monday 8/25. To enter, simply follow me on Twitter and retweet the status post I’ve linked below. Good luck! I’ve also linked my character showcase for the two new cheesy characters, so go check ’em out!
UPDATE: My Cheetos code giveaway is now over, so please don’t retweet the post below. However, you can still have a chance to win a code during my livestreams on Twitch over the next few days, so feel free to stop by the livestream and hang out! I hope you enjoy your stay. 😉
Hey Witcher fans! For this video I’ve compiled a handful of Witcher news that has trickled in over the past couple weeks. I hope it helps to bring you guys up to speed on all things Witcher.
Also, since we can look forward to seeing new Witcher 3 gameplay on July 24th, you can expect to see a breakdown video of the gameplay on my channel, so make sure to subscribe to stay up to date on all my Witcher content!
The past couple weeks have been pretty eventful for fans of Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare. Right on the heels of Garden Warfare’s PC debut, PopCap announced the Tactical Taco Party Pack, which went live on July 1st for Xbox 360 and Xbox One users. The free DLC update includes the new map Jewel Junction, a timed-exclusive for PC that is now available for Xbox players, as well as two new characters, a revised 8v8 mixed mode playlist, and an overall patch for bug fixes. I was particularly excited that they finally implemented an in-game party system, so now I can party up and stick together with my friends without getting auto-balanced onto different teams.
My latest character showcase features the Berry Shooter & the Citrus Cactus, two free plant variants that arrived with the update. These characters also happen to be sponsored by Aquafina, but the product placement has been limited to a mention on the main menu screen; the characters themselves are free from any blatantly tacked on logos or advertising.
I also made a commentary giving my thoughts on the new Jewel Junction map, as well as my overall impressions of the PC version of Garden Warfare. Check out the commentary below! ↓
Another E3 has come and gone, but this year CD Projekt Red left us with a handful of Witcher 3: Wild Hunt gameplay to drool over. Those who were lucky enough to attend E3 had the chance to watch a 45-minute gameplay demo, demonstrating one of the many complex quests that players can look forward to in the Witcher 3. The gameplay showcased many new features, including an improved combat system, epic monsters, and a vast & intricate open-world setting. Only some of the gameplay has been released to the public since E3, and I have compiled this gameplay in the video above, with some brief commentary throughout. Enjoy!
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is set to be released on February 24th, 2015 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Click here to pre-order!
I plan on making many more Witcher videos in the coming months leading up to the release of Witcher 3, so please feel free to subscribe to my YouTube channel to stay up to date on my uploads!
This week, the PopCap team announced that Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare will be coming out for both PS3 and PS4 on August 19th. Players who pre-order for Playstation will also receive exclusive customization items inspired by various PSN titles, including Sly Cooper, Fat Princess, and Ratchet & Clank. PopCap also made a few witty PR posters to tease the Playstation announcement, which I’ve included in my video above.
The Plants vs Zombies team also revealed the minimum PC specifications required to run Garden Warfare, which you can find in my video around 1:40. The PC version of Garden Warfare is set to be released on June 24th. We still haven’t been told when the community-voted Plasma Peashooter will make its debut, but I will update you all if I find out any new information.
I plan on picking up the PC version of PvZ: Garden Warfare soon after it’s released, so hit me up if you’d like to play!
As per the annual tradition, a new Call of Duty was announced after its reveal trailer went live this week. The newest installment in the CoD series is called “Advanced Warfare”, and appears to have mechanized armor suits, jet packs, and ‘futuristic’ technology to justify the advancedness. It seems to be a Titanfall/Crysis/Call of Duty love-child with a dash of Tom Clancy, which would normally really excite me. However, considering the track record of the Call of Duty franchise as of late, I shouldn’t get my hopes up. Oh, and there’s Kevin Spacey.
I’d like to give my opinion of the trailer, but first I want to preface you with my feelings of the CoD franchise, particularly pertaining to multiplayer (because that’s really CoD’s claim to fame these days, after all). If you don’t give two twats about my opinion, then I suppose you can scroll to the bottom and watch the trailer for yourself. ↓
Now, I have been around the casual Call of Duty scene since CoD 2, and after experiencing the downhill tumble that the series has taken with the past couple of installments, I have become a bit jaded with the franchise, to say the least. I used to love me some CoD multiplayer back in the day. Between World at War, MW2, and Black Ops 1, I spent hundreds of hours on multiplayer, making new online friends and really enjoying each CoD title. The franchise was really at its peak. MW3 seemed to be where the game began to lose its footing with multiplayer, but I was at least able to enjoy some of my time with MW3, despite some of its more frustrating parts. The real nosedive came with the effortless sequel, Black Ops 2. Even upon hearing that it was actually called “Black Ops 2”, I braced myself for the worst. After they stripped away elements from BO1 that made the game fun, we were left with a tarnished multiplayer that should have never even existed. I would have rather paid for a bunch of new BO1 DLC packs than its broken sequel. That was really the start of my distaste for CoD games. Once Ghosts was announced, I was actually kind of excited for it after seeing multiplayer gameplay footage and whatnot, but then I was swiftly disappointed once I got Ghosts in my hands.
And now we have “Advanced Warfare”, which I suppose will get abbreviated as “COD: AW” or something. After investing so much time into a single game series, it’s hard not to feel somewhat excited when a new installment comes out. I know some CoD veterans who even feel obligated to like it, almost like we don’t want to admit that a game we used to love really took a nosedive. Nowadays, Call of Duty is like shitty fast food. The first few bites are ok, and may even taste good. But even when you realize just how crappy that CoD burger is, you’re probably going to continue eating it anyway. The worst part is, most of us will make that guilt-filled trek back through the drivethrough just to do it all over again. And then we go home to play Call of Duty…rinse and repeat.
I’m not going to lie, the trailer looks interesting, and it was smart of them to use ‘the Kevin Spacey factor’ to enhance the cred of the game. But lest we forget the patterns of CoD reveals, it’s important to note that this is only a trailer for the single player campaign. Call of Duty campaigns have consistently been good quality, even if some are more memorable than others. It really wouldn’t surprise me if the campaign for AW turns out decent, but since multiplayer is really the focal point for CoD games, I don’t want to get prematurely excited by this trailer alone (no one wants that 😉 ).
TL;DR – Multiplayer reveal or GTFO. Until then, I’ll be sitting here on my fence of skepticism.
